FT8 Basics

FT8 is a weak-signal digital mode used by amateur radio operators around the world.

It is excellent for making contacts when signals are too weak for comfortable voice communication.

To get started, operators usually need a radio with digital audio capability, a computer, WSJT-X software and accurate computer time synchronization.

Start with modest power and a clean signal.
